I remember it like it was yesterday… it was 2009 and Disney announced a new collaboration with handbag company Dooney & Bourke. As a girl with a serious shoe and handbag obsession, this was either FANTASTIC news, or terrible news, depending on your perspective! Since the original “Sketch” design, there have been countless options for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, and Disney Cruise Line. Not to mention exclusive designs for Disney Vacation Club Members, Club 33 members, various Epcot Festivals, and more!
My first “Dooney” was a Sketch wristlet. My father got it for me on a family trip as a birthday gift. I spent WAY too long poring over the options trying to find the perfect one, with Tinker Bell front and center. (DPP Tip: Each bag has the design laid out differently. Spend a little time looking through the options to make sure you get the one you want!) Since then my collection has grown to include more totes, handbags, more wristlets, and even a MagicBand. Yup – they make a MagicBand with the “Sketch” design on it!

I love a pair of Mickey Ears as much as the next girl, but they look a little odd when I wear them running errands around town. They Can Be Subtle
Some days I want to scream my love of Disney to the world. Some days I prefer to go more low-key. For the days when I am going incognito as a Disney fan, I carry my prized possession… an exclusive Dooney & Bourke handbag from Club 33 in Disneyland. To the uninitiated, it appears to be a classic neutral handbag. It is only to the true Disney Fan, that its meaning is apparent!
