Souvenirs… What is the first thing you think of when you hear that word? Likely t-shirts, baseball hats, maybe a snowglobe. When it comes to Disney souvenirs, you would add the classic Mickey Ears to the list. And everyone has seen the light up toys they sell during parades! But when I think of souvenirs, I think of items designed to last. Things that will remind me of magical vacations every time I look at them!

We discussed souvenir shopping on this week’s podcast. The Disney Park Princesses have everything from salt & pepper shakers, to Haunted Mansion fine china. Even our pets get in on the act! And I have written an ode to my favorite souvenir of all – Disney Dooney & Bourke handbags in a previous post.

So where can you find some of these unique items? Here are our Top 5 favorite shops at Walt Disney World!

Summer Lace at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – ‘Fancy’ Souvenirs

Located in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this boutique carries not only Disney-themed items but also clothing an accessories from popular brands such as Vineyard Vines, and Lily Pulitzer. But the real draw for me here is the extensive collection of Disney Dooney & Bourke purses!

This is a fantastic shop to wander around in. Or even run into to pick up something you forgot! Remember – just because it may not have Mickey on it, doesn’t mean it isn’t a souvenir. A new article of clothing, or accessory, can remind you of your trip every time you wear it! Scored a last minute Signature Dining reservation, but didn’t pack nice clothes? This is the perfect place to go.

Marketplace Co-Op – Trendy Souvenirs

The Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs has a little bit of everything. Divided into small, almost temporary feelings shops, this is where you can find cutting edge Disney merchandise. The selection rotates frequently, although there are a few standards – D-Tech, Cherry Tree Lane, and The Trophy Room.

Cherry Tree Lane is home to the adorable vintage-style Disney dresses that you may have seen on social media. You can also find Dooney bags, Spartina 449 bags, and other accessories!

This is also where you can find Disney Tails right now. This line of pet merchandise has everything from Spirit Jerseys to leashes to chew toys! We love the Haunted Mansion line.

Epcot’s World Showcase – International Souvenirs

Ok, I’m cheating a little bit with this one. I suppose technically the entire World Showcase doesn’t count as one “place.” But really it does, because as far as I am concerned, it is one giant store!

Every country in Epcot‘s World Showcase has at least one or two shops. You can find some unique items including authentic German Nutcrackers, Italian ceramics, and even French wine! (You know Sharla and Heather ALWAYS stop at the wine shop in France!)

I have two personal favorites – Mitsukoshi in Japan, and The Queen’s Table in the UK. Mitsukoshi is a wonderland of all things Japanese culture! Snacks, art work, and Anime items can all be found here. The most popular souvenir at Mitsukoshi is the “Pick a Pearl” counter. Guests can choose an oyster and a Cast Member will shuck it for you right there to see if you have found a pearl! You can then purchase a setting for your find.

Scent memory is powerful thing. (As Disney is well aware! Smell that popcorn on Main Street? It’s being piped in!) One of my favorite scents is Burberry perfume. My favorite bottle was purchased at The Queen’s Table on a Disney trip a few years back when they were having a special event. An artist was creating custom bottle designs, right on site! Every time I use it, I am taken right back to that trip and that experience.

Other popular locations to purchase fragrance include France, Italy, and Norway. Laila perfume from the Norway pavilion is a Disney classic!

World of Disney – ALL the Souvenirs

World of Disney at Disney Springs is rumored to be the largest Disney Store in the world! I believe it. After a recent renovation, the open floor plan can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in.

But as you explore, you begin to realize that there is something here for everyone. From kitchenware to clothing to a veritable army of stuffed animals, if you can’t find something you want here you just aren’t trying!

We recommend buying something when you see it. This prevents “Disney Regret” – the feeling of missing out on something you wish you had bought! We’ve all been there… But if you missed something the first time around, chances are good you can find it here! This is why World of Disney is a place I visit on the last day of my trip. Last minute shopping!

Main Street Jewelers – Sparkly Souvenirs!

If you have been reading this blog or listening to our podcast, then you love I love anything sparkly. My love affair with Disney jewelry began with watches but has evolved into all jewelry. And Main Street Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom is my favorite! I cannot walk by without stopping in.

You can now find almost every type of jewelry imaginable. My favorites are the Alex & Ani bracelets, and Pandora charms. And of course, it helps that Main Street Jewelers also carries the Dooney bags!
